SPRINGFIELD, Mo–The Drury men’s and women’s basketball teams were in action at home Friday night.

The Panthers hosting Rockhurst.

The Drury women did not play at home game the entire month of December.

The last game at home was 37 days ago.

Despite that, Kaci Bailey’s Lady Panthers tipped off the game winners of six of their last eight games.

And it was the Rhi Gibbons show early, the steal and the lay up 7-0 Lady Panthers.

Then the inbounds to Gibbons who gets the tough inside basket, 10-2.

Then the kick out to Gibbons in the corner, for three, 13-2 Gibbons doing it all early.

The Nixa product led Drury with 15 points.

Rockhurst has Macie Conway on the roster, she was a teammate with Gibbons at Nixa and gets the hoop for the Hawks.

Drury with the pocket pass to Talia Norman and the freshman gets a pair, 18-6 Lady Panthers.

And then another freshman, Kaylee King with the three from the top of the arc, she had ten.

And the Drury women roll to 4-0 in the conference with an 80-46 win.

On the mens side, Drury outscores the Hawks 104-98.

Keshaun Thomas and Zach Howell had a big game.

Thomas scored 29 and Howell added 28 points.

Drury hands Rockhurst only its third loss of the season.
