We’re seeing Brown have the breakout season we’ve been waiting for him to have.
Fantasy Football team owners may have benefited mightily, potentially culminating in a championship, with Chase Brown’s performances since Joe Burrow has returned.
Brown is No. 5 among all NFL running backs in PPR (points per reception) leagues in games with Joe Burrow, and he only trails Christian McCaffrey, Jahmyr Gibbs, Bijan Robinson, and Jonathan Taylor in those games the Bengals have had their franchise quarterback.
It’s amazing what a healthy Joe Burrow can do not just for Bengals fans, but for the entire team. Chase Brown has five touchdowns in the last two weeks, and he’s now just 53 yards away from 1,000 yards rushing for the season. It’s amazing to think about that when you consider that he rushed for just 70 yards in three games when Jake Browning was starting at quarterback. Brown also had just 202 rushing yards through the Bengals’ first six games.
In addition, Brown has 65 receptions for 419 yards and four touchdowns this season. Keep in mind, the Bengals have played three different quarterbacks this season.
Looking at Brown’s season, it’s clearer why Zac Taylor is probably returning for the 2026 Season.
