Henderson announces Intentions to transfer

Rutgers transfer portal laundry list just got even longer as cornerback Jacobie Henderson has announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal. He joins cornerback Bo Mascoe as another player from his position group to declare his intentions to transfer.

Henderson transferred to the Scarlet Knights after three years at Marshall. During his one year with Rutgers, Henderson recorded 42 total tackles, three tackles for loss, and five passes defended.

He has 115 tackles and two interceptions across his whole career. Before he stepped foot on a college football field, Henderson was a three-star high school recruit according to Rivals. He was originally recruited as a safety before making the flip to corner in college. He was rated as the No.23 recruit in South Carolina and the No. 109 Safety in the 2022 class according to Rivals.

Henderson redshirted the 2022 season while he was at Marshall, so he will have one year of eligibility remaining as he enters the portal during this go-around.
