Chelsea have been accused of having a ‘rigid approach’ in transfer negotiations as one deal breaks down this week.

It very much looked like Renato Veiga to Atletico Madrid was going well and very much on course to get done even just yesterday. But now, it does not look like it will get done, and the blame is being pinned on Chelsea for that.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea attacker has a preference to LEAVE the club this summer despite reports claiming otherwise!

Before we get into that one though, there is some other big bits of news going on this morning and late last night that might be worth recapping on. Chelsea are busy. Chelsea are moving sharp in the transfer market this summer as we approach the latter end of it.

Jorrel Hato of Ajax has agreed personal terms with Chelsea yesterday ahead of a proposed £34m transfer move, and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano had the latest and full details on that one last night.

And another Dutch player, Xavi Simons, could also now soon be closing in on a deal to join Chelsea from RB Leipzig, with Romano also putting out his latest info on that one.

Chelsea need some player sales now though to balance out the books and make room in the squad for these many new signings that they are looking to bring in.

We are yet to really hear much about too many player sales about to be done, especially now the Veiga to Atletico deal has broken down as that looked very close at one point.

Chelsea’s ridid approach

Sky Italia and Di Marzio reporter Luca Bendoni says that Atletico Madrid had an offer in for Renato Veiga but Chelsea’s rigid approach in talks led the club to go all in on David Hancko.
