The women's Euro 2025 in Switzerland has set a new attendance record, with over 620,000 fans having attended matches even before Sunday's final. So far, 623,088 spectators have been counted - surpassing the total attendance of the previous women's Euros held in England in 2022.
Organizers had already reported record attendance figures during the group stage. According to UEFA, 461,582 fans attended the 24 matches, with 22 games sold out. The average attendance for the group stage stood at 19,233 per match.
UEFA said more tickets have been sold for this tournament than for any previous edition of the Women's Euro, with over 600,000 tickets purchased even before the tournament began.
The final, scheduled for Sunday in Basel, will see England face Spain.
