The NBA Summer League came to a close on Sunday night as the Charlotte Hornets defeated the Sacramento Kings to take home the Summer League championship.

Of course, there were many players who impressed during the Summer League this year and while players such as Kon Knueppel, Cooper Flagg and Bronny James stole the spotlight, many players from all 30 teams showed out this summer.

For the Golden State Warriors, they had an interesting Summer League as they posted a 3-2 record in Las Vegas after going 1-2 during the NBA California Classic.

Golden State’s roster was headlined by second-round picks Alex Toohey and Will Richard but it was an undrafted free agent who stood out for them.

That player is rookie guard Chris Manon who went undrafted out of Vanderbilt in 2025.

While the 23-year-old guard went undrafted, he impressed during the Summer League as he was arguably the Warriors’ best player.

In the five games he played, Manon averaged 11.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.6 blocks per game while shooting 50.0% from the field and 50.0% from three.

Manon showed out on the offensive end due to his scoring but he also showed out defensively and proved that he is a great rebounder for his size and signed a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday.

While Manon showed out, Richard also played a key role for the Warriors this summer after being selected by the Memphis Grizzlies in the second round and traded to Golden State.

In four games, the 22-year-old forward averaged 10.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.3 steals per game while shooting 48.5% from the field and 22.2% from three.

While those two players led the way for the Warriors, it was the opposite for Toohey as he struggled during the Summer League.

In five games, the 21-year-old averaged 7.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 27.0% from the field and 28.6% from three.

Overall, it was a successful Summer League for the Warriors as they had multiple young players show out.
