She just had to say it.
A Caitlin Clark Comment on Her Boyfriend Is Trending originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
It’s been a tough week for Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark. The 23-year-old was forced to withdraw from the festivities of the All-Star weekend after re-aggravating her groin injury just days before the highly anticipated event.
Clark is now set to sit out again on Tuesday when Indiana returns to action against the New York Liberty. This is after the Fever decided to rule her out for their clash against the defending champs.
Clark has had to turn to her support system throughout these trying times. One of her most prominent supporters is her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, who has stood by her side amid the uncertainty.
Clark has also done her part in supporting her man amid her demanding schedule as one of the top superstars on the WNBA. McCaffery is currently employed as an assistant coach for Butler University’s men’s basketball team, and the former Iowa Hawkeyes guard took to social media on Monday to share a post about his transition to his second year with the Bulldogs.
“Year 1 ➡️ Year 2,” he wrote.
Unsurprisingly, Clark was one of the first to comment on her boyfriend’s latest post. She responded with two blue heart emojis to express her support.
Clark, however, could not help but poke fun at McCaffery, too. The Fever star just had to comment on her boyfriend’s “skills.”
“your editing and cropping skills r really good😆” she posted.
As of writing, Clark’s comment has already gotten 316 likes. It’s also generated a handful of reactions from fans and friends alike.
“did he have help? Lol” a comment read.
“the filter is poppin too 👀” added a user.
“girlfriend you’re one to talk pls,” wrote photographer and friend Bri Lewerke.
There’s no denying that Clark is a very supportive girlfriend. At the same time, however, she also has a very unique and playful way of expressing her affection for McCaffery.
