Kieffer Moore says he relished playing in Wrexham's three-pronged forward line in the win over Sheffield United.

Josh Windass and Nathan Broadhead started together behind Moore in Friday's Championship home game in which Wrexham came from behind to win 5-3.

Wales international Moore took his season's tally to 12 with two goals - the second from Broadhead's pass – while Windass scored a late penalty to end Wrexham's five match winless run.

"For me it gives an extra body around me and gives me extra support and also it helps occupy more defenders and get more people on the front line," Moore told BBC Sport Wales.

"As we go forward and as we attack we can be dangerous, especially with that front three and everyone supporting us.

"We all got a goal or assist so happy days."

A "delighted" Moore scored two goals against the club he left to join Wrexham in the summer – a move sanctioned by former Blades boss Ruben Selles, who was sacked after a poor start to the season.

Chris Wilder, who returned for his third spell in charge of United in September, said he would not have allowed Moore to leave Bramall Lane had he been at the helm over the summer.

"I'm personally delighted for myself to score two against my old side," said Moore, who had received criticism from some United fans during his time at the club.

"You get criticism, you get praise and you need to keep on an even keel. You can't take it too harshly and you can't take the praise too much, either. I'm delighted for myself.

"They can keep saying what they say and I can just keep producing on the pitch, really."

Wrexham host Preston North End at the SToK Cae Ras on Monday evening and Moore added: "It will be a very quick turnaround. Rest and recover and we go again on Monday."
