Florida State, after finding its new general manager, is adding another hire to its off-field operations effort.

According to reports from both On3 and 247Sports, the Seminoles are hiring Taylor Edwards as Executive Director of Player Acquisitions.

Earlier on Saturday, the Seminoles reportedly hired John Garrett as their new general manager.

Edwards spent last season with the Miami Hurricanes, joining Mario Cristobal’s staff in a shocker after initially being hired as part of Bill Belichick’s inaugural staff. Before that, he spent two years at South Carolina as director of player personnel. Edwards has also spent time leading recruiting operations at Maryland, Arkansas, and UAB, holding the title of Director of Player Personnel at Samford while also serving on Nick Saban’s Alabama staff as a player personnel assistant for the Crimson Tide.
