Suni Lee Trades Gold Medals for a Camera as She Joins the NFL Sidelines for Vikings vs. Lions on Christmas

Suni Lee has expanded her talents across different sectors over the years. Her career as an uneven bars athlete is excellent; she has six Olympic medals (two gold, one silver, and three bronze). She is currently exploring other avenues.

She regularly attends NBA games. Now, she will venture into a new league that will begin in 2025. A video clip was posted on the NFL’s official X account showing Lee stating she would be the exceptional guest photographer for the Week 17 game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions.

“Hey, guys, it’s Suni. I’m at the game today,” she continued. “Merry Christmas. I’m going to be a photographer for the day, so I’m really excited. Let’s have a good game. Skol!”

It is obvious that she will be supporting the Vikings because she is from Saint Paul, Minnesota, as evidenced by her finishing with “Skol.”

Suni Lee gained fame in 2024 after wowing the audience during the Paris Olympic Games. She had previously participated in the Olympics in Tokyo but gained greater fame in Paris. She won a gold medal in team (women) and two bronze medals in individual all-around (women) and uneven bars (women).

Suni Lee is among the most decorated female artistic gymnasts in global rankings, despite her other hobbies.

The Minnesota Vikings (7-8) had high hopes entering the 2024 season, with a 14-3 record the previous year. However, switching from Sam Darnold to J.J. McCarthy did not work out as they had hoped. They are no longer in playoff contention, but hope to finish the year strongly.

The Lions (8-7) are still hoping to make the playoffs. A win on Christmas Day would keep their hopes alive while they wait and see what happens on Saturday with the Green Bay Packers (9-5).
