The first-round pick had five catches for 33 yards. He has just 61 receiving yards in the past two games. He was targeted just five times and he caught all of his targets. He has been targeted four, five, eight and five times since Greg Olson took over for the fired Chip Kelly as offensive coordinator. He is averaging 5.5 targets under Olson, while he averaged 7.1 targets under Kelly. Bowers averaged nine targets a game last season.

Jackson Powers-Johnson:

The second-round pick suffered an ankle injury in Week 10 and he is on the injured reserve. He reportedly might miss the rest of the season. He was reportedly seen stretching on a side field before practice last week, which may be an encouraging sign.
