FC Bayern and…Public Enemy?
In a recent interview with Sport Bild’s Henning Feindt, Christian Falk, and Tobi Altschäffl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl was asked “what headline would you use to describe your time so far at FC Bayern?”
It was odd, yet interesting question. For Eberl, he leaned on a familiar mantra heard around the office at Säbener Straße.
“I’ll use Vincent Kompany’s words: ‘Don’t believe the hype, don’t believe the drama!‘”
Eberl has — mostly — attempted to stay out of the limelight, so the headline fits. However, that is not always easy to do at Bayern Munich. On a side note, it is interesting to know that Eberl is channeling Public Enemy.
If he starts wearing a top hat and clock around his neck, none of us should be surprised.
