Lewis Hamilton took a trip to New York following a difficult 2025 season. Sharing a number of photos from his time in his "favourite city", the driver was seen alongside actor and long-time friend Michael B. Jordan.

In an update to his Instagram account posted this week, the 40-year-old offered a glimpse into his off-season following a difficult first year with the Ferrari Formula 1 team. Posing against the Manhattan skyline in an oversized beige trench coat and streetwear ensemble, the seven-time world champion certainly looked more relaxed than he did during the season.

"My favourite city," his caption read. "NYC is such an inspiring and insightful place. I’m so grateful to spend time here every year, where it’s so easy to reflect and tap into our shared creativity and humanity."

He added: "The world moves fast and we can’t forget how important it is to move with peace and intention and surround yourself with people who lead with curiosity and care."

Jordan wasn't the only familiar face to be photographed alongside the Briton. Olympic fencer Miles Chamley-Watson also shared the lens with Hamilton. This trio had previously been spotted together at events, including the Met Gala.

Hamilton's first year with Ferrari was turbulent. After ending with a sixth-place finish behind his Monegasque team-mate Charles Leclerc, it's a year to forget for the former Mercedes ace.

"At the moment I'm only looking forward to the break," he said following the final race of the season. "Just disconnecting. Not speaking to anyone. No one's going to be able to get a hold of me this winter. I won't have my phone with me. I'm looking forward to that. Just completely unplugged from the matrix."

He continued: "I'll find out when I do it, but I can't wait to get away from all this. Every week, photoshoots and all that kind of stuff. That's the thing I look forward to one day, not having to do it all."

Hamilton is keen to continue, however, despite his difficult start with the team. He's adamant that he's chasing the dream he still has.

"It's the love for what you do," he said on why he continues. "It's the love for racing. I've got amazing support from people around me, my fans. It's that constant keeping an eye on the dream. I still have a dream that I hold hope in my heart for, and that's what I work towards."
