Ferrari team-mates Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc trade jokes about their ages as they rank their favourite Christmas films
The excitement surrounding the 2025 Formula 1 season has died down after McLaren's Lando Norris won the championship at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix finale. But as we all look forward to Christmas, a video in which Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc discuss and rank their favourite Christmas movies has been released.
Published on the team's social media channels, the video shows the two drivers laughing over the films given to them as options on the table in front of them. After a gruelling season, with both drivers struggling behind the wheel of the SF-25, it was a lighter moment as the pair joked about their ages.
Tasked with identifying their top 10 list of holiday classics, the two agreed on the modern staples. But the Monegasque, born in 1997, admitted he hadn't seen a number of the movies, while Hamilton, born in 1985, had seen the majority of them.
"There are some on here I haven't watched, simply because I wasn't born yet," Leclerc laughed. Hamilton, laughing at the comment, continued to defend the classics. But despite this, the two decided that Will Ferrell's Elf took the win in this little social video. It was joined by Home Alone 2, The Polar Express, and the legendary action movie Die Hard.

The Scuderia duo also included The Grinch and the musical Spirited in their selections.
It was a tough season for the Ferrari drivers. Leclerc finished fifth with 242 points after a season that boasted seven podium finishes, while Hamilton finished one place behind him, with 156 points.
"You always have positive and negative into the season," team principal Fred Vasseur said. "We had positive points this season, but probably less than negative. We did a good pitstop, good strategy, good reliability. And I think it's important for the future to capitalise on this.
"But we have also some areas where we have to do a much better job. I think we started a little bit the season on the back foot in Bahrain. And then we had the issue with disqualification race two in China. And this put us in a corner.

"I was quite happy with the reaction of the team, honestly. Because we came back in three or four races. We came back in a decent pace. But if you have a look at this, over this first part of the season, we lost one or ten points on McLaren.
"And we were two or three tenths behind them at this stage of the season. And it was almost gone. But what we have to learn is that every single detail, but this is always true in my business, every single detail can make a huge difference. And the reason of the disqualification, I think we had to pay the bill for one third of the season."
