The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback went viral for his trash talk that was exposed in a mic'd-up moment from his team's 29-24 victory against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, Dec. 21.

Rodgers took a playful jab at Lions' linebacker Jack Campbell, who initially declined the Steelers QB's hand to help him up off the ground after the 22-year-old Detroit player hit the 42-year-old veteran while he was out of bounds.

"Oh, you don’t want me to help pick you up," Rodgers quipped at Campbell, who had opted for his Lions teammate Tyrus Wheat's hand to help him up instead.

The Steelers quarterback, who is the second-oldest NFL player this season, then made it about age, shifting the focus to the Lions player two decades his junior.

"Why, cause you’re slower than a 42-year-old? Is that why?" Rodgers said to Campbell as he got up without his help, adding, "You’re slower than a 42-year-old."

Rodgers was certainly on a high during the game, and rightfully so with Pittsburgh on track to win the AFC North with two games remaining in the regular season.

The Steelers are currently 9-6 with a two-game lead over their division rivals the Baltimore Ravens — meaning they can secure a playoff berth with a win against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, Dec. 28.

The Steelers quarterback was the oldest player in the NFL prior to the recent return of Phillip Rivers, the 44-year-old Indianapolis Colts quarterback who came out of retirement on Sunday, Dec. 14.

Rodgers, who was selected by the Packers in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft, has discussed his age several times this season.

Memorably, he freaked out at Steelers teammate Broderick Jones who friendly fire tackled the quarterback in celebration during the Steelers-Bengals game on Oct. 16. The pair later made up, the QB revealed in a press conference after the incident.

"What you don't see in the video is right after the throw, he's coming over to me. He's shaking me and shaking me," Rodgers recalled to reporters of the 24-year-old Steelers offensive tackle.

"I text him and say, 'Hey man, I love your energy. I love everything you're about. But also, I'm 41, okay? You can't be out there tackling me like that,' " the veteran QB said he told Jones.
