Florida State will see another former blue-chip prospect enter the transfer portal come January, as quarterback Brock Glenn has announced plans to play outside Tallahassee in 2026.

Glenn, who announced the decision on Instagram, started seven games for the Seminoles over two seasons with FSU, including a win in the 2023 ACC Championship.

I have loved every single second of my time at FSU. They say that college should be one of the most memorable and rewarding times of your life, and that has definitely been the case for me in Tallahassee. I’m so grateful for all the incredible people that have been part of my journey here, especially my coaches and teammates and all the staff supporting us behind the scenes.

FSU football is a true brotherhood, it is something that honestly is impossible to put in words. I feel so lucky and blessed to be part of it.

This community is like no other.

Y’all have given me so much and I will never take it for granted. I leave with memories, relationships, and learnings to last a lifetime. And that ACC championship in 2023 was pretty special, too.

Most importantly, I want to thank God for all that He has done for me and thank my family for their constant love and support. I am excited to take the next step in my career by entering the transfer portal. No matter where the road takes me, I’ll always be proud to say l’m a ‘Nole.

Thank you, FSU!

He was passed on the depth chart by former FSU quarterback Luke Kromenhoek late in the 2024 season and in 2025, was the Seminoles’ third-string quarterback with true freshman Kevin Sperry taking in-game rep priority when starting quarterback Tommy Castellanos left games in both blowout and injury situations.

Sperry, following the transfer of Glenn and reserve quarterback Jaylen King and the denial of Castellanos’ waiver for an additional season, is the only scholarship quarterback returning to FSU with experience. The Seminoles signed four-star quarterback Jaden O’Neal as part of their 2026 signing class earlier this month.
