Tottenham Hotspur have not yet received any formal approach for sporting director Fabio Paratici, despite growing reports from Italy suggesting a move to Fiorentina could be close, according to reports from Sky Sports.
Italian media claim Fiorentina have offered Paratici a four-and-a-half-year contract to take up a senior sporting role, with the Serie A club keen to secure his experience as they plan for the long term. However, Sky Sports News understands that no contact has been made with Spurs at this stage.
Tottenham are aware of the situation, and a decision on Paratici’s future is expected in the coming days, but there is no indication that discussions have progressed beyond external interest. The club have maintained a measured stance amid the speculation.
Paratici only returned to an official role at Spurs in October, following the expiry of a 30-month FIFA ban. His reinstatement marked a significant moment for both parties after he was forced to step down as managing director of football in 2023.
Despite the circumstances surrounding his departure, Tottenham have consistently shown support for Paratici, initially retaining him in a consultancy capacity before restoring him to a formal position once eligible.
Whether Fiorentina’s reported offer develops into a concrete move remains to be seen. For now, Paratici remains part of Spurs’ structure, with the club awaiting clarity as speculation continues to build from Italy.
