Manchester United will have to look elsewhere to bolster their attack in the January transfer window.
According to David Ornstein, Bournemouth talisman Antoine Semenyo’s preference is to move to Manchester City in January.
It is claimed that Semenyo’s decision was not due to Ruben Amorim’s system, with United never planning to play Semenyo at wing-back. Instead, he picked City due to his desire to win trophies is key to his wish to join Pep Guardiola’s side.
United “tried their best” to convince the Ghanaian winger to move to Old Trafford, but a move in January was “always going to be a stretch”.
