Macclesfield have confirmed their National League North fixture against Buxton on Boxing Day will take place in memory of Ethan McLeod.
The 21-year-old died in a car accident on the M1 motorway while travelling back from their league fixture against Bedford Town last week.
The Silkmen's home game against Alfreton Town, which was set to be played on Saturday, was postponed following McLeod's death.
"Supporters are invited to join us and pay their respects on Friday, when we will remember and celebrate the life of Ethan ahead of kick-off," the club added.
"We advise supporters to please be in their seats at least 15 minutes before 15:00 GMT to observe the remembrance tribute."
The Birmingham-born forward had a loan spell with Alvechurch in the Southern League, before short periods with Rushall Olympic and Stourbridge after leaving Wolves where he began his career.
He arrived at Macclesfield in July after a successful trial.
McLeod played seven times for the Silkmen and scored three goals for the club, the most recent of which came in a 1-1 draw with Kings Lynn Town on 10 December.
