The Cleveland Browns could bring Dante Moore home as they do in this 2026 Browns mock draft
The Cleveland Browns are strong underdogs heading into Week 17 of the 2025 NFL season against the Pittsburgh Steelers, even if the NFL might prefer an upset. For the Browns, DE Myles Garrett’s pursuit of the single-season sack record and positioning in the 2026 NFL draft order is really all that matters in the last two weeks of the season.
We also now have a good idea of which teams Cleveland will play on the 2026 NFL schedule, both home and away, but we don’t know some of the key players that will be on the Browns roster at that time. A few of those key players will come in the 2026 NFL draft. Our previous NFL mock draft had Cleveland adding QB Fernando Mendoza at the top.
This week’s 2026 Browns mock draft was completed using the help of Pro Football Network’s Mock Draft Simulator and had a different quarterback for Cleveland in the first round:
1st round – QB Dante Moore, Oregon
Soon, many Browns fans will learn that Moore grew up in Northern Ohio before moving to Michigan. Moore has yet to declare, but one analyst had an interesting comparison for the Oregon Duck product:
First round – WR Chris Brazell II, Tennessee
How about a 6’5” receiver with over 1,000 yards receiving and nine touchdowns this year to give Moore a more diversified receiver group?
Second round – OT Austin Siereveld, Ohio State
The offensive line needs help and Siereveld has been very good for the defending National Champions.
Third round – TE Max Klare, Ohio State
Klare’s numbers dropped after transferring from Purdue, but his skill as a receiver is obvious to all the Buckeye faithful. Another 6’5” pass catcher for the revamped offense.
Fourth round – OT Dametrious Crownover, Texas A&M
Just a massive tackle that can take a year to develop if Dawand Jones stays healthy or steps right in at right tackle in 2026.
Fifth round – S Earl Little Jr., Florida State
Son of former Browns DB Earl Little Sr., Cleveland’s secondary and special teams need reinforcements.
Fifth round – LB Lander Barton, Utah
A tall linebacker with speed, quickness and range, Barton can help replace Devin Bush, if he departs in free agency, or add to a talented room and help on special teams right away
Fifth round – OL Kade Pieper, Iowa
The offensive line could need up to five or six new players next year, adding linemen from Iowa often works out
Seventh round – DT Chris McClellan, Missouri
Seventh round – WR De’Zhaun Stribling, Ole Miss
Seventh round – DE Caden Curry, Ohio State
More depth at important positions leads to more competition.
