Dembo Sylla will not be playing for Lorient in Ligue 1 this season. The right-back has been loaned out to Red Star in Ligue 2.
FC Lorient announced this Tuesday in a press release the loan of Dembo Sylla to Red Star (Ligue 2 BKT). The Guinean, who was already loaned out to Belgium last season, joins the Audonian club for a year. He played two matches for Lorient, including one in Ligue 1.
"Having arrived in July 2023 from Stade Lavallois, Dembo Sylla (22 years old) joins Red Star FC, a Ligue 2 BKT club, on a season-long loan. (...) Les Merlus wish him a great season in his new colors." Lorient said in their statement.
