What's at stake? For the Chargers if they want to continue holding out hope for the AFC West they need the win not to mention seeding because Buffalo and Houston are winning just like they have recently. It is also an opportunity to clinch a playoff spot with a win and some help.
For the Cowboys, they have the slimmest chance to make the playoffs. Plus, they will also not be happy after the Minnesota Vikings came in and showed them up in their own stadium last weekend. They will come out swinging.
Who's better? Chargers. They have a defense that is flying around and playing physical especially the last two weeks. The Cowboys have underperformed yet again.
Matchup to watch: Chargers secondary vs. Cowboys receivers: The Chargers secondary have a real test on their hands because CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens are no joke, so they will need to keep them clamped down. It will be tough but if the pass rush can get to Dak Prescott then the secondary should be able to hold it down.
Chargers win if: the offensive line can protect Justin Herbert. This will continue to be the theme especially after he has been sacked 11 times in the last two games. Dallas’ secondary is bad, so with some protection the receivers should be able to feast.
Fantasy sleeper: Omarion Hampton. The rookie running back is getting close to a break out game similar to week four in New York. Expect both running backs including Kimani Vidal to have big performances.
Prediction: This is the toughest decision in the last two games. I have gone the other way the past two games and the Chargers have won, so what do I really know? Nothing. Dallas 27 Chargers 26
