ESPN's "College GameDay" will be attending two different SEC campuses as part of a two-show special for the College Football Playoff
ESPN's "College GameDay" will be attending two different games in the first-round of the College Football Playoff. GameDay will first attend the Alabama Crimson Tide at Oklahoma Sooners game (kickoff at 8 p.m. ET) on Friday, Dec. 19 and then the Miami Hurricanes at Texas A&M Aggies game (kickoff at noon ET) on Saturday, Dec. 20.
On Friday, GameDay's show will start at 6 p.m. ET from South Oval on Oklahoma's campus in Norman, Oklahoma. The GameDay crew will move inside Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium for the final hour of the show leading up to kickoff at 8 p.m. ET.
On Saturday, GameDay's show will begin at 9 a.m. ET as usual. The show will be held in Aggie Park on Texas A&M's campus in College Station, Texas. The show will migrate inside Kyle Field for the final hour leading up to the noon ET kickoff.
GameDay's trips to Oklahoma and Texas A&M will mark the sixth and seventh time GameDay has visited an SEC campus this season (does not include the SEC championship). A lot of fans consider this to be SEC bias, but the way the playoff worked out it is clear that these will be the two most competitive games of the first-round. Oregon and Ole Miss are both multi-touchdown favorites against the Group of Five opponents (James Madison and Tulane).
The first-round of the playoff is the final week that teams will play on-campus games, so from now on GameDay will be attending neutral site games.
