Here are your player ratings from Manchester United’s 4-4 draw against Bournemouth:

Starters

Senne Lammens – 6

Bournemouth were clinical today. Made three good saves and two right at the end. Could’ve done better in preparation for the third goal.

Diogo Dalot – 5

Played his part in another goal, and less

Leny Yoro – 4

The weakest link in the defence, but the open nature of the game didn’t help him.

Ayden Heaven – 5

Exciting on the ball but found himself out of position at times.

Luke Shaw – 5

At fault for the first goal, but made a lot of last-ditch interceptions. The open nature of the game made it an exciting game, but left many of the players with greater defensive responsibility looking a bit reckless.

Amad Diallo – 8

Was a danger going forward from the off and opened the scoring. Unfortunate to have not scored another.

Casemiro – 6

The full Casemiro experience: a set-piece goal, constantly joining the attack, lots of open space for the opposition to run into, and a booking that led to a goal.

Bruno Fernandes – 9

Fantastic once again and scored one of the goals of the season. Ran his socks off, and it seems like United will have to gamble on committing players forward to get results this season.

Mason Mount – 6

Unfortunate not to get a goal or assist. All the forward players were a threat today.

Bryan Mbeumo – 5

Will be disappointed with that. The chances were there, but he didn’t have his finishing boots on today.

Matheus Cuha – 9

A top performance, and it’s unfortunate that his goal wasn’t the winner. Needs to build on this in a busy period.

Subs

Kobbie Mainoo – 7

Looked more like his silky self today.

Benjamin Sesko – 6

Played his part in the fourth goal.

Lisandro Martinez – 4

Will be disappointed with the fourth goal.

Joshua Zirkzee and Patrick Dorgu – N/A

Manager

Ruben Amorim  – 6

He hasn’t got the balance between attack and defence right and is unlikely to get it fixed this season, but if it’s a choice between this and West Ham, most will take this. United have scored more goals than every side bar City, and the underlying numbers suggest it’s no fluke. The underlying defensive numbers have been poor all season as well. The set-up could be better, but the defence and midfield need someone more commanding as well. He needs to build on this and tweak a little.
