Dylan Raiola was supposed to be the Georgia Bulldogs' next superstar.

Instead, late in his recruitment, the No. 1 QB in his class flipped to play for the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Georgia is about to get a second chance.

On Monday, ESPN's Pete Thamel reported that Raiola will be entering the transfer portal.

Everyone you can think of will be interested in Raiola, who completed 72% of his passes in 2025 and remains a top QB talent.

And there's a very obvious scenario in which the Bulldogs would be interested, too.

Gunner Stockton has a year of eligibility remaining, but he walked at Senior Day. If Stockton leaves Georgia, there's an opening at the most important position in sports for one of the best programs in the country.

Raiola was interested in suiting up for the Bulldogs once. He certainly could be again.

Georgia has two young QBs behind Stockton: redshirt freshman Ryan Puglisi and true freshman Ryan Montgomery.

Neither of them would stop the Bulldogs from giving Raiola the job for as long as he wants it.

Where does Raiola want to be? That will only emerge in the weeks ahead.

Texas Tech will come up, because of Raiola's fondness for Patrick Mahomes. LSU will come up, because Lane Kiffin could use a splash like this.

But don't discount the 'Dawgs. They were in the picture before, and they can make a run at Raiola one more time.
