Browns crowded quarterbacks room ranked as one of the worst in NFL

The Cleveland Browns are facing a harsh reality with their uninspiring and crowded quarterback room.

The Cleveland Browns quarterback room was dubbed as one of the worst in the NFL.

Bleacher Report's Alex Kay ranked Cleveland's quarterbacks room of Kenny Pickett, Joe Flacco, Dillon Gabriel, and Shedeur Sanders as the third worst in football, only behind the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints.

"The Cleveland Browns' quarterback room went from a concern to a sideshow in the span of mere months," Kay wrote.

"Flacco memorably led the Browns to a playoff berth after being signed off the street two years ago, but he’s regressed significantly since then. It's telling that he's still the odds-on favorite to come away with the starting job over three players far younger than him, making this one of the NFL's worst quarterback rooms."

With Deshaun Watson expected to miss the entire season as he rehabs from Achilles' surgery, the Browns decided to add four new quarterbacks to the roster this offseason. They started by trading for Pickett, then signing Flacco, and lastly, selecting Gabriel and Sanders in April's draft.

Though Pickett and Flacco have starting experience, and Gabriel and Sanders have promise, it's hard to argue against Cleveland having one of the most uninspiring quarterback rooms in the league.

None of the signal-callers on the Browns' roster are long-term answers, and the team will likely be searching for a new starter next offseason, especially with Watson's future up in the air.

Cleveland isn't expected to be a playoff contender in 2025, and subpar quarterback play will likely be their demise once again.
