Inter show no signs of slowing down within their pursuit for the promising Gialloblu defender as the Nerazzurri continue to work towards obtaining Parma center-back Giovanni Leoni.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasinreports, via FcInter1908 that the Milanese club are continuing to push towards sealing a move for the 18-year-old Italian international and will make advanced steps once space has been made within the squad through sales.
Leoni’s entourage was spotted at the Inter headquarters yesterday and positive talks were held regarding a potential move for the Parma starlet.
As it stands, Parma show no intentions of selling Leoni and would only let the promising defender leave for a lucrative offer of €30m.
The Nerazzurri face stiff competition as cross-city rivals Milan and several Premier League outfits are intrigued by Leoni as well.
Following his breakout season last year where he made a total of 17 appearances for the Gialloblu, former Parma coach Christian Chivu is eager to reunite with Giovanni Leoni at Inter and work together once more.
