Borussia Mönchengladbach have extended Franck Honorat’s contract by a further year until 30th June 2029.
After a rumoured leak from Foot Mercato involving the Frenchman dropped today, Die Fohlen confirmed the extension.
Honorat signed for Gladbach in 2023 from Stade Brestois, making his competitive debut in the 7-0 win at TuS Bersenbrück in the DFB-Pokal.
“I’m very happy to continue this adventure with Borussia. I see the contract extension as a reward for what I’ve tried to give the club so far.
"I will continue to give my best to be 100% there for the team. The past two years have been about settling in and finding my feet at Borussia.
“Now I feel free and full of confidence. I feel extremely comfortable in this environment, surrounded by very loyal and respectful people. This is exactly what I need,” Honorat said.
Overall, the winger played 35 times across all competitions in his debut season, netting five goals and assisting a further 13.
