Bild reports that Liverpool are now willing to negotiate for the sale of Colombian winger Luis Diaz, opening the door for a move to Bayern Munich.
Bayern are open to paying €75m for Diaz and would offer him a four-year contract and a salary of €14m gross per year. At Liverpool, Diaz currently earns €2.5m net per year.
The Bundesliga side has been trying to persuade the Premier League champions to part ways with Diaz and had a bid worth €67.5m rejected by the side, as despite signing Florian Wirtz, Liverpool still sees the Colombian as a key player.
Diaz is now Bayern’s main target as they have put their interest in Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade on hold due to the Swabian’s stubbornness in selling the 23-year-old. However, if Bayern fail to reach a deal with Liverpool for Diaz, they could turn their attentions to Lyon winger Malick Fofana.
