The Cleveland Browns have been rumored to be interested in a trade before the 2025 season, but one player will have to be scratched off their list after a season-ending surgery.

The Cleveland Browns have made several moves at the quarterback position this offseason. They traded for Kenny Pickett in March, and signed Joe Flacco shortly after. In the draft, they selected both Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders to give them four new quarterbacks in 2025.

Even with all of these new signal-callers, there were many speculating that Cleveland could be looking to bring in another quarterback. One name that has been whispered was Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis. The former second-round pick was relegated to backup quarterback after the Titans drafted Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick. However, Levis' season has already come to an end.

Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Kentucky product is undergoing shoulder surgery that will keep him off the field for all of 2025.

"Titans QB Will Levis will be undergoing season-ending surgery on the right shoulder injury he sustained early last year before further aggravating it later in the season," Schefter posted on X. "Levis has been unable to shake the discomfort and his shoulder still is bothering him. Levis is, in the words of a source, 'dedicated to return to be able to compete at the highest level possible.'"

If the Browns are looking for another quarterback, they'll have to scratch Levis off the list.
