What to watch for

France has won their first two games in Group D play. Thy will face off against the Blue and Whites (that’s Israel’s nickname) tomorrow, who are ranked No. 39 in the world. The Israelis (as of 2 p.m. ET) are 1-0 and will be fresh off their game against Poland which will be at about 2:30 p.m. ET today.

So far, Roman Sorkin, a post for Maccabi Tel-Aviv, is Israel’s leading scorer after scoring 31 points against Iceland in their first Group D game. However, former Wizards player Deni Avdija, now with the Portland Trail Blazers, is their top star. He scored 20 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in the aforementioned games against Iceland. Expect Avdija to take a bigger lead tomorrow, but the Israelis will be underdogs against Les Bleus, who will be look to get their third win and better seeding once the Round of 16 is finalized.
