The 2025 Miami football season is around the corner, which means it’s time to refill your cooler, fire up your grill, and prepare to party your you-know-what off at tailgates this fall.

Going through the hassle of prepping food for a party full of hungry football fans can be a bit exhausting. We get it. It’s time-consuming and tiring and can take the fun away from having a good time, which should always be the number one tailgating priority.

That’s why we at CaneSport compiled a list of the five best spots to grab all your food-related tailgating essentials this season, ordered in proximity to Hard Rock Stadium.

Walmart – 0.6 miles away, 19501 NW 27th Ave, Miami
The iconic supercenter located just a short walk away from Miami’s stadium carries a litany of different packaged snack options to bring to your tailgate. In the deli section, you’ll also be able to find hot-and-ready items like chicken wings and mac n cheese. This is also probably the cheapest option on this list.

Chipotle 1.8 miles away, 18299 NW 27th Ave, Miami
Maybe greasy burgers and hot dogs just aren’t you and your party’s pregame thing. Maybe you’re trying to find a (sort-of) health-conscience food option before you root on your Miami Hurricanes. Does any of this apply to you? Well, luckily Chipotle offers numerous catering choices that are tasty, affordable and won’t ruin your diet. We think the single option under “Build Your Own” is the way to go, as it comes with a protein of your choice, two bases, two toppings, two salsas, and one type of tortilla for $8.75 per person.

Publix 2.5 miles away, 19955 NW Second Ave, Miami
Similarly to Walmart, Publix is stocked with a variety of chips, crackers, and cookies. Unlike Walmart, however, Publix features a much wider selection of dips and hot food. Their buffalo chicken dip gets a certified CaneSport recommendation. If you and your group are in the mood for sandwiches, Publix’s counter-style deli is worth a try if you haven’t done so already. Publix also offers customizable subs and trays (deli, bakery, seafood) — perfect for a quick, crowd-pleasing spread. Easy advance ordering make this a reliable choice.

Mr. Cobbs BBQ & Wings 3.1 miles away, 20601 NW 2nd Ave
Fresh barbeque is a long-standing tradition of tailgates around the country, but like we said previously, preparing it from scratch can be a long and tiring process. At Mr. Cobbs BBQ & Wings, all of that work is done for you. Their $88 family sampler, which serves four to five people, includes a half a rack of ribs, a half pound of chicken, a half pound of chopped pork, one pound of sliced brisket, one large order of mac n cheese, one large order of collard greens, one large order of baked beans and one large order of coleslaw.

Antonio’s Pizzeria 3.3 miles away, 6890 Miramar Pkwy
Pizza is one of the easier dishes to share at a tailgate, so we had to include it in the list. Also, why go to a chain joint when you can support a South Florida staple like Antonio’s Pizzeria, which has been around since 1972. Specializing in traditional Southern Italian cuisine, Antonio’s Pizzeria serves up a variety of different pizzas, pastas, and heroes.

Now let’s assume you want to get more adventurous and don’t care about whether an establishment is within a good punt of Hard Rock. Here’s a few more options to help create a perfect game day!
