The Brockton Rox are gearing up for a lively weekend at Campanelli Stadium.
The final weekend of the Revival Season will feature a series of events from Friday to Sunday, according to a community announcement. The highlight of the weekend is the “banana-ball” style action at 6 p.m. Aug. 31.
On Aug. 31, fans will experience music throughout the game, dance challenges and interactive games. This marks a unique approach in professional baseball, where entertainment will be integrated into the game itself. The festivities continue with Sunday’s Fan Appreciation “Banana Ball” Extravaganza, which includes a postgame drone show and a souvenir baseball giveaway for the first 500 attendees. Additionally, there will be 27 giveaways, one for each out recorded by the Rox. Prizes include tickets to opening day next season, Rox T-shirts and hats.
The weekend series against the New Jersey Jackals begins at 7 p.m. Aug. 29 with College Colors Night. Fans wearing college gear will receive free tickets to the game. The Rox will celebrate America’s colleges and universities throughout the evening. On Aug. 30, the Rox will play a doubleheader and partner with UPS for a toy drive benefiting Brockton’s annual UPS Brockton Community Toy Drive. Those who donate a toy will receive a free ticket to the game. The doubleheader starts at 4:30 p.m., with gates opening at 4 p.m., and both games will be seven innings.
After each home game, kids can run the bases, and on Sunday, all fans are invited to participate in this tradition. Tickets for the weekend’s games are available at BrocktonRox.com/tickets.
The Rox aim to make the final game of the 2025 revival season memorable. Players, fans and even umpires may join in dance challenges during the game. There will be new games and challenges for fans between innings, and music will play throughout the game. Jamey Smart, the starting first baseman, will perform the national anthem on the harmonica.
