The Jets landed three new players via the wavier wire following the NFL's roster cut downs, here's who.
The New York Jets were busy cutting their roster down to 53 players earlier this week but kept that momentum rolling into waivers.
Following roster cuts, the Jets dipped into the wavier wire system three different times to claim a trio of players. In doing so, heading to New York's roster are a new linebacker, tight end and offensive lineman.
Who exactly were the Jets awarded?
Here are the trio of players the Jets claimed on waivers:
TE Jelani Woods
Woods is likely the most intriguing piece. He has not played in the NFL since 2022, but he did have 25 catches for 312 yards and three touchdowns that season.
LB Cam Jones
Jones has appeared in every game for the Kansas City Chiefs over the past two seasons but has only made two starts. He has been a mainstay on special teams but does a Super Bowl appearance under his belt.
OL Esa Pole
Pole signed as an undrafted free agent with the Chiefs this offseason.
