Former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson is only allowed to throw punches in his fight against Salt Papi at Misfits 22 on Saturday but that didn’t stop him from showing off some of his other moves during an open workout in Manchester on Wednesday.

Ferguson, who is making his professional boxing debut after leaving the UFC following an eight-fight losing streak, looked more like a mixed martial artist while using knees, elbows and other weapons to entertain the crowd in attendance.

In fact, Ferguson event busted out one of his favorite professional wrestling moves by delivering “The People’s Elbow” — a signature move made famous by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson during his many years in WWE.

In addition to Ferguson providing his best audition tape for WWE, the Misfits 22 open workouts also included appearances from his opponent Salt Papi as well as headliners Darren Till and Luke Rockhold, who are set to clash with a bridgerweight title on the line in the main event.

Till is competing in his fourth boxing match since parting ways with the UFC while Rockhold is making his debut following a stunning knockout over Joe Schilling in his first and only ever Karate Combat fight.
