How does Alabama stack up against Florida State and its 2025 SEC opponents? Here's a look at the series through the years.
How do the Alabama Crimson Tide match up historically against every opponent on their 2025 college football schedule?
Alabama has the highest winning percentage all time among SEC schools with a .733 mark. Officially, the Crimson Tide are 26 victories shy of joining the 1,000-win club and have 974 wins, 341 loss, and 43 ties to their all time tally. Ohio State (.735 overall) is the only college football team with a higher winning percentage than Alabama.
If we're counting traditional SEC schools and not Texas and Oklahoma's recent forays into the SEC, Tennessee counts as the second-winningest program in the conference. The Vols' .670 mark is well behind Alabama, but it's just ahead of Georgia's .666 clip.
It's not much of a surprise that Alabama's winning percentage is so high. The Crimson Tide have the most SEC championships with 30, and the most national titles among its conference mates.
For its season opener, Alabama will be facing the winningest program from another Power Four league in the ACC's Florida State Seminoles at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee Saturday (2:30 p.m. CT, ABC).
