There’s still no full agreement between Bayern Munich and Nicolas Jackson, with the German giants still in contact with Chelsea according to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg.

Jackson is expected to leave Chelsea before the end of the window, and has fallen down the pecking order following the arrival of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro this summer.

The 24-year-old wasn’t part of the squad for Friday night’s win against West Ham, and the Blues are trying to find a solution before the window closes.

No full agreement between Bayern Munich and Nicolas Jackson

Chelsea are said to still value Jackson at £80m, but at this late stage in the window they are unlikely to get that fee.

It’s been reported Chelsea would be open to a loan, as long as there’s an obligation to buy and a big loan fee thought to be around £10m.

There’s a number of clubs interested in Jackson, both in the Premier League and abroad, but as of yet no official offers have come in.

However, Bayern Munich are pushing hard to sign Jackson, but the German champions are only interested in a loan deal.

Bayern have reportedly agreed personal terms with Jackson, and Plettenberg has now provided an update on the situation.

He took to X.com and said:

“Regarding FC Bayern and Nicolas #Jackson, there have been new talks today.

“However, there is still no full agreement between Jackson and Bayern.

“Bayern and Chelsea are in contact and it’s difficult. Bayern want a loan. Premier League clubs remain in the mix, with Aston Villa … #CFC”

Chelsea still working on Christopher Nkunku exit

Whilst it’s important the Blues move Jackson on, they also need to sell Christopher Nkunku to make room in the squad for both Xavi Simons and Alejandro Garnacho
