Juventus got off to a near-perfect start in the new 2025/26 Serie A season with a commanding 2-0 win against Parma.
Scorers: David 59', Vlahović 84'
Sent Off:Â Cambiaso 83'
Igor Tudor's La Vecchia Signora were dominant in the opening half-hour of play at Allianz Arena against Crociati and young first-time manager Carlos Cuesta, but struggled to turn the one-sided run of play into a first-half opener.
Canadian star Jonathan David led the line for Juve on the night, but the former Lille ace struggled to consistently link up with Kenan Yildiz and Francisco Conceição before the break.
Juve were left frustrated as they entered the changing rooms level at nil-nil, and a goalline clearance from Bremer just after the restart spared the club's blushes of potentially going down a goal against the run of play.
David would finally get the goal he craved just before the hour mark, turning home from close range with the outside of his foot with a one-touch finish to bag his first Serie A strike for his new club.
The home side were temporarily made to sweat inside the final ten minutes of action when Andrea Cambiaso received a straight red, but those fears were instantly dispelled, however, when substitute Dušan Vlahović made it 2-0 moments later.
Vlahović's insurance goal guaranteed all three points on the night for Tudor and company, who travel to Genoa next weekend ahead of the international break.
