"It feels great. It was important, especially after this crazy week. We did it. The coach told us we had to play with confidence, to realize that we have a strong team even with a reduced squad. We had to make the effort together, be generous, and we did just that." said the former Arsenal captain. He continued: "There are big expectations, you have to step up. I'm ready for anything. I feel good physically. I'm not quite at 100% to play a full match yet. Ready to play out wide, as a number ten, or number nine."

With OM set for a long campaign after qualifying for the Champions League, Aubameyang discussed the challenge ahead: "We’ll have to manage it well. I’m not 20 anymore, but I think I can play a lot of games. There will be a lot of matches this season. The coach is listening."
