Kansas State running back Dylan Edwards is out for the second half of Saturday’s season opener against Iowa State, head coach Chris Klieman told ESPN’s Taylor McGregor. He suffered an injury on a punt early in the first quarter.
Edwards appeared to tweak his left ankle on the play and received treatment on the sidelines. He later went back to the locker room before coming back out, though he didn’t have his helmet on. He also didn’t appear to go into the offensive huddle.
