Manchester United are in negotiations with Royal Antwerp to sign goalkeeper Senne Lammens.
Discussions are underway between the two clubs over the transfer of the goalkeeper for a fee in the region of €20m (£17.3m).
Ruben Amorim wants to bring in a new goalkeeper amid reservations over Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir. The former missed much of the pre-season campaign through injury, while Bayindir was at fault for the decisive goal in last weekend’s 1-0 defeat to Arsenal.
Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Manchester City are not currently involved in the race despite reports. City will target PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma if Ederson leaves the Etihad
Lammens won plaudits for his performances in Belgium last season, where the 23-year-old led the Pro League for saves and expected goals prevented. He also saved four penalties throughout the league campaign.
