Congratulations Pouring In For Indiana Fever Star on Tuesday

The Indiana Fever have been missing the contributions of Caitlin Clark, but several other stars have stepped up in her absence.

Stephanie White leads one of the deepest teams in the WNBA with Clark, Sophie Cunningham, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell.

While Clark is widely regarded as the lead guard for the Fever, Mitchell has worked her way into MVP conversations. In a recent announcement from the WNBA, Mitchell was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week.

"Another one for the resume," posted the official social media account of the Indiana Fever. "Kelsey Mitchell is your WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season."

During this past week with the Indiana Fever, Kelsey Mitchell posted 25.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game.

Upon the release of the announcement, some fans took to social media, sharing their thoughts on the accomplishment of Kelsey Mitchell.

This season, Kelsey Mitchell is averaging 20.4 points, 1.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.
