Chicago Sky Coach Addresses Angel Reese Decision After Four Straight Losses

Big Angel Reese news emerges.

Angel Reese has been missing from the Chicago Sky lineup since July 29, forcing head coach Tyler Marsh into several changes.

The Sky have the longest losing streak in the WNBA. Chicago has lost four straight games, all of which have come with Reese on the sidelines.

Reese has missed seven straight games for Chicago. The Sky have also dealt with injuries to Ariel Atkins and Hailey Van Lith in the second half of the WNBA season.

On Tuesday, WNBA fans received big news on the return of Reese.

She has officially been upgraded from questionable to a game-time decision. Marsh revealed the news ahead of Tuesday's home matchup against the Seattle Storm.

"She looked good in practice yesterday and she came in today feeling pretty good at shootaround," Marsh said. "Spirits are high and they’re hopeful. It is a game-time decision for her to play tonight but it’s looking pretty good right now."

Tyler Marsh mentioned that it's looking pretty good that Angel Reese makes her official return, but a minutes restriction may be on the horizon for the WNBA star.

Throughout her second season with the Chicago Sky, Reese has posted 14.2 points, 12.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game.

The Chicago Sky's last four games came against the following teams: the Golden State Valkyries, Connecticut Sun, Indiana Fever and Atlanta Dream.

The return of Angel Reese, if she's able to go, would be huge for the progress of the Sky to potentially break the longest losing streak in the WNBA.
