Indiana Fever superstar guard Caitlin Clark has had an injury-riddled second season in the WNBA. Limited to just 13 appearances, she has endured a left quad strain, a left groin injury and a right groin injury.

The Fever still managed to find stints of success after a very up-and-down start to the year. They managed to win eight out of 10 games during a stretch that began in July and ended in early August. Since then, they've dropped four of five games.

Caitlin Clark, Kate Martin's Shared History

Clark and Kate Martin were a star guard duo for the Iowa Hawkeyes, reaching the NCAA championship game in 2023 and 2024. Although they never achieved the ultimate goal of lifting a banner together, the two share a bond that will last far beyond the basketball court.

Meanwhile, Clark has been active on social media, commenting on her former Iowa teammate's Instagram post.

"Yezzzz queen," she wrote.

"Love u," she followed.

"Hot slay auntie," she commented.

Martin has averaged 5.9 points, 2.4 rebounds and 0.8 assists in her second season in the WNBA. Initially drafted by the Las Vegas Aces in 2024, she joined the Golden State Valkyries this season as a part of the new franchise's expansion draft.

As for Clark, who's missed her last 12 games, there remains no clear timetable for her return, with coach Stephanie White announcing previously that they are taking a cautious approach for their superstar's return, prioritizing her long-term health.

Indiana will visit the Connecticut Sun on Sunday, with the hopes of getting back to their winning ways.
