Bengals' Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, Trey Hendrickson arrive for Commanders preseason game

Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said to expect quarterback Joe Burrow and the first-team offense to play about one quarter against the Commanders.

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, receiver Ja'Marr Chase and defensive end Trey Hendrickson were among those shown arriving at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, ahead of the team's Monday Night Football preseason game against the Washington Commanders.

Chase wore a black T-shirt; Hendrickson also wore a black T-shirt, with a hat and khakis.

The Bengals reportedly are listening to trade offers for Hendrickson, with Carolina, Cleveland and Indianapolis among teams having shown interest in the 2024 NFL sacks leader.

Before the team's preseason opener in Philadelphia, Burrow arrived wearing athletic gear, including a dark blue T-shirt and black pants. Burrow and the first-team offense impressed during the first quarter against the Eagles.

Burrow was featured in the recent Netflix docuseries, "Quarterback," along with QBs Jared Goff and Kirk Cousins. He shook his head as the Kansas City Chiefs rested starters with the Bengals' playoff chances hanging in the balance, and he accepted a compliment from Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.

Burrow also told head coach Zac Taylor that the Bengals' effort in a 2024 win was "f------ embarrassing." Burrow explained during the show that the burglary of his home in December 2024 forced him to cancel the purchase of a Batmobile and consider moving, and he discussed his fascination with fossils and a visit to the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago.

Burrow enters his sixth NFL regular season needing less than 1,000 passing yards to reach 20,000 in his career.
